What is SWIFT Code?

An 8-11 character international bank identifier. Format: AAAA BB CC DDD
Example: SBIN IN BB XXX (State Bank of India)

What is MICR Code?

A 9-digit code used on cheques for electronic clearing. Format: CCCCCCBBB
Example: 110002001 (City-Bank-Branch)

What is IIN?

First 6 digits of a card number identifying the issuing bank.
Example: 508534 (identifies the bank)

What is Bank Code?

4-character code identifying the bank in IFSC codes.
Example: SBIN (State Bank of India)
